About Egyptian University for E-Learning (EELU)
The Egyptian University for E-Learning was established by Presidential Decree No. 233 of 2008 as the first Egyptian university to adopt the principle of e-learning. In 2018, Presidential Decree No. 71 transformed it from a private university to a national university, aiming to provide high-quality educational services to all Egyptian governorates at socially acceptable prices.
The Egyptian University for E-Learning is the only university in Egypt that has managed to free its students from the constraints of time and place while maintaining continuous communication and interaction between professors and students. This is achieved through flexible educational channels that rely on e-learning and self-directed learning tools, with modern curricula linked to the labor market.
The university currently comprises three main faculties: the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Faculty of Educational Studies.
The university also has 14 branches in various Egyptian universities, including Ain Shams, Asyut, Alexandria, Menoufia, Beni Suef, South Valley in Qena, South Valley in Hurghada, Aswan, Sohag, Ismailia, Sadat, Fayoum, Tanta, and Minya.
